FUN MONDAY - Don't Leave Home Without It

Karina over at Candid Karina is the host of today's Fun Monday, and her assignment is as follows:

"I want to see your security blankets. No, not the kind Linus carries around with him in the Charlie Brown cartoons, although, if you have one of those, by all means share it. What I want to see are the items you just cannot leave home without. What is it that if you leave your house without, you feel naked, incomplete, not quite right? This can be one thing or many things. And since most of us don't live in a clothing optional society, lets just assume we all leave the house fully dressed...I want to hear about those other things...the extras. The things that make women's purses so heavy and men's pockets so messy (I'm going to get grief for this one, aren't I?) What can't you leave home without? Show us pictures, tell us stories...have fun!"

So what can't I leave home without? See below!

This is what I can't leave home without on a typical workday. I have in the back my can of pop (I hate coffee and this Diet Pepsi Max actually keeps me awake!), and my wallet. In front of my pop I have my iPod so that I can watch a TV show during my lunch hour. In front of my wallet I have my work ID badge and my PDA which has my calendar and a ton of other cool things on it.

Behind my sunglasses is a thing of hair ties, because I have long hair and sometimes it needs pulled back. Then I have my gum and my keys and of course my cell phone. I also have my FAVORITE lip gloss ever (I really should do a review of it...I love it!) by L’Oreal.

Nothing too exciting, but I feel really naked if I don't have these items with me. And most of them (minus the iPod and the work badge go with me everywhere I go...not just to work).

Now go on over to Candid Karina and check out all the other participants!!!

I really must be the only person on the planet without an IPOD! Oh, well, Christmas is just around the corner! Great post.

You need to share that lip gloss...

I keep seeing iPods and PDAs, & how people can't live without them. I don't have either. Your gum looks good, though.

Share the lip gloss...want to hear about it.

Gum sounds good right now...wish I had some.

I do have an ipod that my girls bought me for my 60th birthday but I have to say I'm not keen on listening through headphones. So I only play it via speakers.

I am the only one who doesn't carry anything for my lips - it's a wonder I'm ever kissed!

No ipod for me. Don't know why, just not into gadgets. Diet pepsi max huh! I prefer regular pepsi - diet pepsi tastes too much like coke to me. LOL!

Let's here it for Pepsi. I noticed several people have to have their pepsi. Me too and even have pepsi stock.

Love the fun monday

Thanks for sharing

I think I can leave the house without anything except my sunglasses. I just have to have my sunglasses on if the sun is even remotely shining in the sky!

Do a review on that lipgloss! I'd love to know more

Funny how we all have become so dependent on our cell phones, mp3players and other electronic toys!

I would love to read a review of that lipgloss.

Diet Pepsi Max? I don't think I've seen that up here...but then again, I don't buy a lot of pop for when I am out.

I can't leave home without my ipod and a diet coke (with lime). I used to use a PDA (A Dell, I think it's the same as yours) but I gave it up because it crashed too much. Now I'm much less organized though.

I love that diet pepsi max, but near me I can only find it in a 2 ltr, not cans! I'll have to look harder I guess!

Lip gloss is really the only thing I MUST have with me, and if I happen to forget it when I go somewhere I feel all anxious until I get back home.

Okay I want to hear about the lipgloss now.
I used to have a PDA but... well we had some issues there. The only thing I can't live without is the work ID (it gets me in and out of work and daycare) and chapstick. I am completely addicted to chapstick. I have them hidden everywhere.
